The I Hiked ALDHA Way Award recognizes ALDHA members who have completed the entire Appalachian Trail and joined the community of A.T. 2000-Milers.

Whether completed as a northbound or southbound thru-hike, a flip-flop journey, or through years of dedicated section hiking, earning every mile of the Appalachian Trail is a remarkable accomplishment. ALDHA is proud to honor hikers who have reached this milestone and to welcome them into the long-distance hiking tradition.

ALDHA Members who earn the award receive an I Hiked ALDHA Way patch and commemorative certificate in recognition of their achievement.

Eligibility

To qualify for the I Hiked ALDHA Way Award, applicants must:

• Be a current ALDHA member.  Not a member? Join here.
• Have completed the entire Appalachian Trail.
• Have hiked all official Appalachian Trail miles.
• Submit an award application.

Northbound hikers, southbound hikers, flip-floppers, and section hikers are all eligible.

How to Receive Your Award

1. Complete the I Hiked ALDHA Way application.
2. Confirm your ALDHA membership is current.
3. Attend the annual ALDHA Gathering and receive your award in person, or request that it be mailed if you are unable to attend.
4. Celebrate your accomplishment with fellow hikers.
