What: The Appalachian Trail Museum
Hall of Fame Banquest
When: November 22, 2025
Where: Bavarian Inn Resort & Brewing Company
164 Shepherd Grade Road, Shepherdstown, WV
The event will begin with a reception at 11 am, followed by luncheon at noon and then the Hall of Fame Induction.

ALDHA Events
What: Trail Days
When: May 6 -9, 2025
Where: Damascus, Virginia
Annual Hiker Festival featuring hiking gear, trail information and craft vendors. Current hikers along with anyone interested in hiking may participate in the annual hiker parade down Main St. Camping is available in the town camping area just a mile away from the vendor area in City Park. There is, also, live music and events. Contact coordinator@aldha.org to volunteer to help setup and help out in the booth.
What: Waynesboro Hiker Fest
When: June 6 & 7, 2025
Where: Waynesboro, Virginia
ALDHA will be participating in this Hiker Fest both giving seminars and hosting a hiker feed. The Hiker Feed will be at Rockfish Gap June 6 and a booth downtown on June 7. Warren Doyle will be giving seminars and ALDHA member Bob Huff has volunteered to give a seminar on Trail Maintenance.
Anyone interested in helping with this event ALDHA members and Board members are encouraged to volunteer to help with this event. Free camping available. Contact jillbyrd@aldha.org for more information and to volunteer.
